Welcome to My Cocoa-Mochoa!

Thank you for visiting and taking a moment to read my blog! This is my diary about favorite recipes, brands and trials with hot cocoa.

Traditional suggested recipe by the major manufacturers:
1 packet of Hot Cocoa Mix
1 mug of 6oz hot water

Now take a look at my sweet recipes and discoveries:

Extra Creamy Milk Cocoa
1 packet of Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
1 mug of 6oz hot milk
1 teaspoon sugar
Froth with fork.
Sprinkle with cinnamon

Extra Frothy Silk-Milk Cocoa
1 packet of Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
1 mug of 5oz boiling hot milk
Mix packet, sugar and boiling hot milk together using a fork. Sink the fork into the cocoa and bring it up at a 45 degree angle, do this quickly to create a light froth topping.
1 tablespoon coolwhip on top. Mix in quickly with fork. Drink happily.

Special dark chocolate Cocoa
1 packet of Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
1 mug of 5oz boiling hot water
1/4 oz. finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
In mug combine packet and 1 oz of bittersweet chocolate, then add 5 oz of boiling hot water, place plastic wrap over container and a rubberband to cover.
Shake vigerously for 2 minutes.
Pour into new mug and Enjoy.

Little Miss Cocoa
1 packet of Milk Chocolate Cocoa Mix
1 mug of 5oz boiling hot milk
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/8 teaspoon finely ground candy cane
Stir all ingredients together. Then:
Top with 3 tablespoons coolwhip
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon & sugar

My Cocoa-Mochoa
Fill mug up to 1/2 full of freshly brewed coffee
Add enough cold milk to fill mug up almost to brim.
Stir in 4 tablespoons of Chocolate Syrup
Microwave for 30 seconds.
Take mug out and stir vigerously.
Microwave for 45 seconds.
Stir in 1 teaspoon sugar and flavor with light sprinkle of cinnamon.

My Oreo-ca
1 packet of milk chocolate cocoa mix
1 mug of boiling hot milk
Top with 2 tablespoon coolwhip.
Put half of one oreo cookie on top of coolwhip. Stir, nibble, and sip as desired.
